We use the information you share to arrange your Materuni experience and respond to your questions.
Information we collect
When you send a booking request, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, nationality or country of residence, preferred contact method, pickup point, travel date, group size and any notes you choose to provide.
If you use the website concierge, we store the messages in that conversation, the selected language and a randomly generated session identifier. A one-way hashed network identifier may be used to limit automated abuse; we do not store the raw IP address in the concierge rate-limit record.
How we use information
- To receive and manage booking requests and availability.
- To contact you about your requested experience and practical arrangements.
- To answer questions through the website concierge or WhatsApp.
- To maintain delivery logs for booking notifications and prevent repeated automated requests.
Service providers
Our website and booking records are hosted using Supabase. If AI-generated concierge replies are enabled, conversation messages are sent to the configured AI provider to generate a response. If email or automatic WhatsApp notifications are enabled, the relevant booking details are sent to the configured email or WhatsApp service provider. These integrations are only used for the purposes described here.
Payments and sensitive information
The website does not currently collect card payments. Do not send payment card details, passwords or passport copies through the website concierge or booking notes. Payment instructions are shared only after a host has reviewed and confirmed the arrangements.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell personal information. We share only the details needed with service providers that support booking, hosting, messaging and customer support. We keep records for as long as they are reasonably needed to manage the enquiry, booking, business records and applicable legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask us to access, correct or delete information associated with your enquiry, subject to records we are required to retain. Contact hello@materunihosts.com and include your booking reference if you have one.
Cookies and local storage
The concierge uses browser session storage to remember your chat session while you browse. The website does not currently use advertising trackers. If optional analytics or marketing technologies are introduced, this policy will be updated before they are enabled.
