What to expect when planning a Materuni experience with a local host.
Booking requests
Submitting a booking form sends a request. It does not create a confirmed reservation. Your local host will review the requested experience, date, group size and availability, then contact you to confirm the arrangements.
Prices
Published experience prices are shown in US dollars and are per person. The total depends on the selected experience and number of guests. Your host will confirm the final details before the booking is accepted.
Transport and pickup
Pickup and transport arrangements must be discussed and confirmed separately. Please provide your hotel or preferred pickup point when you enquire. Do not assume transport is included unless your host has confirmed it in writing.
Payment
There is no live card payment on this website at present. After your host confirms the booking details, you will receive the applicable payment instructions. Do not send payment to an account that has not been confirmed by Materuni Hosts.
Experience conditions and safety
Some experiences include walking on uneven, wet or steep natural paths. Wear suitable footwear and follow your guide’s instructions. Waterfall and swimming conditions can change; swimming is only appropriate when local conditions and your guide permit it. Tell us in advance about mobility, health, dietary or other practical requirements so we can discuss what is suitable.
Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel a request, contact your host as soon as possible and include your booking reference. Any changes, cancellation terms or applicable refunds will be explained when your booking is confirmed.
